Ullapool Youth Hostel is situated in the old part of the village and has a spectacular location on the seafront, offering wonderful, ever-changing views over Loch Broom and the Beinn Dearg mountain range.
Rooms vary in size and include both private and multi-share, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, two small lounges and an excellent laundry and drying room. There is also a dining area where you can eat breakfast while watching the fishing boats, birds and seals in the harbour.

On the east shore of Loch Broom, Ullapool was founded in 1788 as a herring port by the British Fisheries Society. It was designed by David Aitken who was advised by Thomas Telford.
