We are an Ullapool based, family run business. We smoke fish, cheese, meat and eggs, using traditional wood-smoking methods, thus producing a high quality product (you can also choose Scottish heather with the hot smoked or Highland whisky in the cold smoked salmon!)
We source our produce from the local area: our salmon is from the nearby Wester Ross Fisheries (www.wrs.co.uk). WRF hand-rear their salmon to RSPCA Freedom Foods certified standards (www.scottissalmon.co.uk/freedo...) in the pristine waters of Loch Broom and Little Loch Broom.
Respecting the environment is embedded in WRF’s daily practice, utilizing best practice husbandry and environmental protection on their farms, in order to produce free range ‘sashimi’ grade fish.
To complement the Smokehouse, we have recently opened a fine food shop. Please come and see our lovely range of Smoked Salmon and Trout, Continental and Smoked Cheeses and Meats, Pates, Oatcakes and Chutneys. We even smoke eggs for those of you who are not keen on fish!
