This is an exciting chance for beginners, experienced dancers and professionals to be immersed in dance. Styles are expected to include traditional Indian, musical theatre, contemporary, Urban streetdance and traditional Scottish.
A timetabe of 'come and try' classes is designed to have something for beginners of all ages and abilities. Many adult and child classes are held next door to each other so everyone can take part at once. Experienced and professional dancers can try out new styles or attend specialist materclasses.
Top professional performances include acclaimed Dance Ihayami. Both amature and professional dancers will take part in the eclectic showcase "Get Ullapool Dancing".
Dont miss the big hig of the festinval - the great "Ceilidh and Latin Dance Party" mixing traditioal Scottish dancing with professional Latin performances and plenty of chance for all ages to join in.

On the east shore of Loch Broom, Ullapool was founded in 1788 as a herring port by the British Fisheries Society. It was designed by David Aitken who was advised by Thomas Telford.
