"A sustainable community where everyone enjoys a fulfilled life"
Ullapool Community Trust is a development trust covering the area from Elphin to Gruinard in the North West Highlands of Scotland. Our aims are to develop and deliver projects that offer economic, social and environmental benefits to local people and the wider community.
Ullapool Community Trust was established in 2009 and has since been involved in a wide range of community based projects which have a focus on social enterprise, the environment and community empowerment. We are a charitable Trust ran by our members for our communities. We act as an anchor organisation to other social projects to allow them to develop in the early stages of project start-up, we also run our own projects and we are always keen to help support local non-profit organisations and groups.
We are community led and we continually engage with our local residents to plan efficient and effective service offerings. We work closely with volunteers and provide training and apprenticeships for young people through many of our initiatives. We welcome input from anyone and we strive to work in an open and inclusive way.
