Layers of Landscape: a pair of painting workshops with Beth Robertson Fiddes
Saturday 1st July and Saturday 29th July
10am - 4pm
A two-day workshop with Beth Robertson Fiddes - with a month to develop your work in between! ATS will be exhibiting Beth's exquisite landscape paintings in July. This double-workshop is a chance to explore the techniques she uses.
Day 1: Saturday 1st July. You will start in the gallery and then move to the ATS Studio to explore some of the techniques, materials and sources that Beth uses in her work, looking at texture, mark making, collage and layering through demonstrations and trials. Using these ideas you will then be able to work on your own piece or pieces over the following month in your own time, with advice on offer if needed.
Day 2: Saturday 29th July. You will bring together the pieces you have been working on to draw them to a conclusion with Beth's guidance.
Participants must be able to come to both days. £100 for both days / £90 for An Talla Solais Members. Only a handful of places left so booking is essential: please contact email@example.com.
