The Caledonian MacBrayne ferry at Ullapool Harbour. The ferry sails daily to Stornoway in the Western Isles.

Spectacular coastline and hills are all accessible from our area making it a popular destination for hillwalking.

Ullapool is a busy fishing port and harbour. Fresh seafood is available every day and is sold at local restaurants.

Corrieshalloch near Ullapool is a spectacular mile long  gorge over 200 feet deep. It is managed by the National Trust for Scotland.

Lochbroom
Summer Isles

Loch Broom has spectacular views and in the summer months is a haven for yachts from all over the UK.

The Summer Isles near Achilitbuie are home to otters, seals and many bird species.

Suilven
Sunset, Wester Ross

Suilven is 2389 ft high. It is a hugely popular hillwalking destination and its name is derived from the Norse for "Pillar Mountain".

The Ullapool and Loch Broom area is a photpgraphers paradise with forever changing views and amazing light.
