Taste of Ullapool
A new initiative has been launched to highlight the range of wonderful local produce available in the area. Taste of Ullapool is a joint venture by several local food producers ranging from Salmon, Bakery, Organic vegetables, locally reared lamb, beef & venison and many more. On 5th december, Ullapool Village Hall will resound to the sound of its evergreen Christmas Fair. This is an event which enables local organisations to do a spot of fundraising as well as showcase their work. But more than that, it is designed to be a day of fun for young, old and the middle aged and an opportunity to do a spot of Christmas shopping. Santa will be in his grotto from 2pm and the now famous Fair Trade teas & baking will refresh you when it all gets a little too much! |
