| Description |
Watch this stunningly handsome bird on a traditional breeding loch. Assynt is one of the strongholds for Black-throated divers in the UK. Other birds we might see include ravens, stonechats, redstarts and more. 11am to 2pm.
Meet at Assynt Visitor Centre, Lochinver NC 094 225. Grade B walk with A being easiest and D most challenging. Please dress for Highland weather and bring sturdy boots/shoes, a picnic and a sense of fun. Sorry these walks are not suitable for dogs. Walks are free but donations appreciated. |
